Wildcat 1150

Rival

The Wildcat™ 1150 builds on the proven Wildcat 950 chassis by extending its length to integrate a front-mounted transverse toolbox, offering significantly enhanced gear storage and organization. This addition sits ahead of the original 950 layout, allowing crews to carry more tools and equipment without compromising vehicle agility. Designed with the same rugged, off‑road wildfire performance in mind, the 1150 delivers superior operational capability thanks to its thoughtful toolbox expansion

The Wildcat is a bolt-down unit, with multiple bolt-down points. The unit as a whole is built on a forklift-pocket-integrated frame. It fits 84″ cab-to-axle trucks and offers a 400 USgal (1,514L) water storage capacity.

About WildCat Wildfire Response Units

In the heart of the wildfire battleground, the Wildcat™ Wildfire Initial Attack Body emerges as a formidable force, designed to swiftly navigate dense terrain and quell flames with its 415 USG foam-injected water reservoir. This skidable unit, built with decades of continuous refinement across four generations, stands as a testament to innovation in forestry firefighting. Its sleek semi-gloss finish not only allows for easy decal application but also conceals a robust combination of TIG and MIG welding processes, ensuring longevity and unmatched strength during the heat of firefighting operations.

It has lightweight yet high-strength cabinet and tonneau construction, composed of ⅛” marine grade 5052-H32 aluminum mill plate as well as 6061-T6 extrusions. The build quality and processes speak to its durability and resilience in the face of the toughest challenges. The entire Wildcat Skid is designed with integrated forklift pockets for easy removal/deployment via 6 bolt locations on the skid and corresponding flat deck.

Ease of access is a hallmark feature, with two gull-wing doors on each side providing immediate entry to all stored assets. For added convenience, the cargo bay is enclosed with rear barn doors and a vented tonneau cover. The pop-up tonneau cover, supported by gas struts, ensures quick deployment, while double-skinned flush-mounted doors with whale-tail compression latches and neoprene-rubber weather seals guarantee security and weather resistance.

Wildcat units are regularly built and stocked, but during busy seasons, may not always be in stock.
